First Aid Courses

First aid is a set of measures and procedures to save lives and prevent further deterioration of injured and sick persons’ health. It is applied on site or at a safe distance from the site of injury or illness. The main task of first aid is saving lives and transporting  injured persons to appropriate medical facilities (preferably the closest) in the best condition, and in a timely manner.

There is a difference between first aid and professional medical assistance. First aid is provided by physicians, trained rescuers or common people who happened to be at the place of accident (who should be trained in first aid).
